We are pleased to introduce the HaloIR booth at Healing Hands for our clients. HaloIR offers Halotherapy, Far Infrared sauna, meditation, and Chromotherapy (light therapy). This innovative new service appeals to all ages of clients and will help round out our current wellness offerings. The HaloIR booth is made of non-toxic materials and uses medical-grade salt. Medical grade or pharmaceutical grade salt is pure sodium chloride that is mined and all impurities, debris and trace minerals are removed. 

Halotherapy was originally “discovered” in the 1800’s in Eastern Europe when doctors realized that salt miners didn’t suffer nearly as often from respiratory and skin conditions as others in the communities. These doctors began to “prescribe” visits to the salt mines and at some point the mines even carved out separate areas for this original Halotherapy.
